Dublin’s newest and largest theatre can seat over 2000 people on any given show night. Entertaining half a million guests a year, it’s truly a spectacular venue. Since opening, the theatre has proved a fantastic addition to the art and cultural heritage of Dublin City.
The Bord Gáis Energy Theatre raised it’s curtains in 2010 with a Russian Ballet performance. Since then, it continues to host theatrical productions from London and New York, that were previously impossible to host here in Ireland.
Some of the iconic shows that have taken to the stage since the curtains were raised in 2010 have been Wicked, The Lion King, Phantom of The Opera, Elf and of course the well-loved Mary Poppins.
