STIR Restaurant at Clayton Hotel Cardiff Lane is located a 4 minute walk and less than 350 metres from the entrance to Bord Gais Energy Theatre ensuring that you do not have to worry about missing the start of the show. Clayton Hotel Cardiff Lane offers a variety of fresh dining options to suit all tastes.
Since the Bord Gais Theatre opened in 2010, it has hosted a large number of shows. 2019 will be no different and there will be many fantastic shows coming to Dublin this year. These include Les Miserables starting off the year in January, followed by shows like Macbeth, Calendar Girls, Motown the Musical, Jersey Boys, War Horse, To Kill a Mockingbird, Doctor Dolittle, Annie, Club Tropicana, Grease and many others.
The restaurant located on the mezzanine level is light and airy. The pre-theatre menu offers a variety of dishes using ingredients from local and Irish suppliers. Our chef has designed the menu with dishes that are incredibly tasty but can be prepared quickly. This ensures you and your guests are able to dine in comfort, knowing you are a short walk away from the show. There is a children’s menu available and we can cater for any dietary requirements.
Groups are welcome
Large groups are welcome to dine either pre or post matinee or evening shows. We recommend pre booking especially at the weekend. Please let us know in advance if you are celebrating an occasion – we’ll ensure to have birthday candles on hand for dessert.
